Mis amigos en Facebook no se cambian a Google+ por huevones, eso resume la situación actual de la red social.
Google+ es un espacio que promueve el esfuerzo de ideas creativas y reflexivas.Jesse Wojdylo originally shared this post:
Hey Facebook, Google+ Users Can Read.....More Than One Sentence
I have had an unbridled enthusiasm for Google+ for about two weeks now as this platform allows users to learn and find answers from a very smart group of people. This seems to be the exact opposite of the dark side and the land of the tweets.
Some of the common status updates on Facebook and Twitter are:
"Hatin on my boss for making me come in early"
"My dogggggggie is sooooo cute!"
"Why isn't life easier?"
I might not be doing justice to status updates as I can put a sentence together. I digress. Over the last several years I have noticed that Americans want to put forth minimal effort and get the maximum return. As most of you already know, this is simply not the way life works. I can relate this to blogging, relationships, sports, finance, well, every aspect of life.
I look at Facebook and Twitter as platforms to put forth minimal effort. I look at Google+ as a platform that encourages and promotes effort. The posts/updates with the most shares, +1s and comments are the posts that are thought provoking and often lengthy. This is completely the opposite of Facebook. Some of the most popular status updates on Facebook go something like this:
"Whose comin to my party on Thursday; itz gona be off hawt."
This is just another reason that I think, in the long run, Google+ will dominate the dark side. It may not happen in 2012 or even by 2015 but eventually the smarter and better platform will win out. Ask Alta Vista, MySpace and Netflix. People like +Brian Gundersen +Eli Fennell and +Stefan Svartling make this community special because they engage in conversation and make me think (sometimes a little too much).
We can only hope that the community continues to strengthen with individuals like +Brian Titus +Mark Traphagen +Ronnie Bincer (who took 24 hours off Google+, he will be punished!) +Denis Labelle +Valentin Dobroia and +Ralph Mendoza
These are just a few of the names that I have put in my "talkers" circle. If you want to see why Google+ is so much better than Facebook just + them and you will understand quickly!
